white towers sitting in the desert

I stumbled upon this magnificent vacation home in Coachella Valley in California by Edward Ogosta Architecture.
The house has four distinguishing towers which each contain a sleeping room at the top. They are situated precisely so as to have one individual view of the surroundings: the morning sunrise, the stars at night, the mountain ridge, and the city lights.
I just think it is amazing how the house just sits in the desert like a simple, yet intriguing and elegant sculpture. The spaces created within the house and outside including the pool are very unique I think, even though the basic geometry making up the house is rather basic.
And I would really love the sleeping room with the view to the stars!! That would be nice.

This is a 60cm x 70cm painting i did this afternoon with acrylic colors on canvas. I think it turned out quite well. I like the way the purple and orange blends within the vase without being obviously present. Its a very harmonious painting which will complement every room i think. I dont know where and if i am going to hang it up tho...ill wait and see :) tell me what you think!

I stumbled upon a very basic but inspiring design for a home of only 80 m2 by Poliform. The compilation of the furniture is very fresh, young and contemporary and just the way i like it. The concept is to have a home for a young person that fulfills all the needs in a small space that meets the demands of design with high quality yet for a low budget.

how do you create a chair solely out of cardboard without compromising on stability, versatility and comfort?

Heres a solution. This is a project me and my project partner just finished for school and had a lot of fun with, although it took quite some time, nerves and strength to finish it on time and in the way we wanted it. I personally think it turned out great and believe it or not, it really is comfy, especially if you add a fur and throw it over the chair before you sit down and relax ;)
